Dormant Company

Companies Act (2006) is the regulation you must follow if your company needs to file inactive accounts. This procedure, which is done once a year, is faster for those companies that have never operated, and in the case of those that did but are now inactive, the process will take a little longer (1 more day).

At UK Companies Co we manage the process for archiving dortmant company. Remember that this process must be done within 9 months of the end of your company's accounting period. If not, you will receive a fine of £100 from Companies House.

Documentation Services

Service for Dormant Company

If you need to file inactive accounts for your company, we take care of the entire procedure. For  this we offer the following:

  • Complete and submit the form AA01 to the FRS102 standard. For this we will need to know the name of your company, the company’s number, the authentication code (sent by Companies House directly to your registered address), the shared capital and the name of the director or one of them if there are several.
  • If you previously worked with us to incorporate your company, you do not need to provide us with this information, because we already have it in our files.
  • Delivery confirmation. Once we send your AA01 form, we will send you an email with the confirmation of the procedure. When we receive confirmation from Companies House about the information contained in the document, we will also inform you by email so that you are aware that you have effectively complied with your company’s obligations.
